Diagnosis first. Everything else follows from it.

These are the capabilities we build with, not a menu to choose from. Which ones your engagement uses is an output of the audit, not a decision you should have to make before it.

Automating the wrong process faster is still the wrong process

Most automation work fails for a boring reason: nobody checked whether the bottleneck everyone complains about is the one actually costing money. So we diagnose before we build, and we do not stop at the build, because four in five teams are never trained on what they buy and quietly go back to doing it by hand.

    What we build with

The capabilities behind stage two. Most engagements use two or three of these, and the audit decides which.

    Process Mining & Consulting

We map how work actually moves through your business and show you which parts are worth automating first.

    Gen AI and Agentic Systems

AI that understands a goal and takes the steps to reach it, for the processes nobody should have to babysit.

    Intelligent Document Processing

Pull structured data out of invoices, forms and contracts, so your team stops rekeying it by hand.

    Integration Services

Connect the tools you already run, so work moves between them without a person copying it across.

    Academy & Training

Hands-on workshops that leave your people able to build and run automation themselves.

    How an engagement runs

Four stages. You can stop after any of them, and the audit is credited against the build if you continue.

    01

    Diagnose

We walk your operation and trace the bottleneck back to its root cause, with the cost attached

    02

    Prioritise

One process to start with, a realistic range, and the grants you qualify for

    03

    Build

Scoped, built and live in your business, typically in two to three weeks

    04

    Hand over

We train your team to own it. Ongoing management is optional, never assumed

Where we have done this before

Thirty or more Malaysian organizations, concentrated in plantation and palm oil, public relations and marketing, education, and e-commerce. Ask us for the before-and-after numbers on any of them.

Start at RM3,500. Most of the rest is claimable.

You only commit to the audit, and it is credited in full against whatever you build next. From there the SME Digitalisation Grant co-funds up to half the build, your HRD Corp levy covers the training, and Budget 2026 adds a 50% tax deduction on AI training spend. We prepare the paperwork with you.

      AI Leverage Audit

We sit with your team, trace the pain back to its root cause, and hand you a prioritised roadmap with the numbers attached. Credited in full against the build if you go ahead.

      02typically 2 to 3 weeks

      First automation, live

The highest-ROI process from the audit, built and running in your business. Quoted as a fixed number once the audit has told us the real scope, because anything quoted before that is a guess.

SME Digitalisation Grant co-funds up to 50%

      03priced per training day

      Team enablement

Hands-on sessions on your own workflows, not a generic AI course. This is the stage that decides whether the build is still running in six months.

HRD Corp certified, claimable up to RM8,000 per day

      04optional monthly retainer

      Managed automation

We monitor, maintain and extend what we built. Optional, and plenty of clients take the keys and run.

We do not publish build prices, because a plantation traceability system and a marketing workflow are not the same job and pretending otherwise helps nobody. The audit is what turns your scope into a fixed number, and it is the only thing you commit to first.

    Frequently asked questions

Cost, grants, data, maintenance. The questions Malaysian SME owners actually ask before they sign anything.

What does an AI automation agency actually do for an SME?

We start by finding the root cause, not the symptom. We map how your business runs today, trace the work that is eating the most time or money back to what is actually causing it, then build the automation that removes it, from lead follow-up and document processing to reporting and internal workflows. You get working automation and a team that can run it, not a slide deck.

How much does AI automation cost in Malaysia?

The AI Leverage Audit starts from RM3,500 and is credited in full against the build if you proceed, so that is the only figure you need up front. We do not publish build prices, because scope genuinely varies by an order of magnitude between, say, a marketing reporting workflow and a plantation traceability system, and a headline range would be misleading in both directions. The audit turns your scope into a fixed quote before you commit to anything.

Can I use a government grant or my HRD Corp levy to pay for this?

Usually yes, and it makes a large difference. MidasX is HRD Corp certified, so team training is claimable against the levy you already pay every month, up to RM8,000 per day under SBL-Khas. The SME Digitalisation Grant co-funds up to 50% of qualifying digital services for Malaysian-owned SMEs, and Budget 2026 added a 50% tax deduction on AI training spend. We will tell you what you qualify for on the first call and prepare the paperwork with you.

Who maintains the automation after it goes live, and what does it cost to run?

You choose. We hand over full documentation and train your team to own it, which is the default and the point of stage three. If you would rather we keep it running, we offer a monthly managed retainer. Either way we give you the running costs in writing before you commit, including model usage and any third-party tool subscriptions, so there are no surprises on month two.

What happens to my business data?

We work within PDPA obligations, scope exactly which data an automation touches before we build it, and will host on Malaysian or regional infrastructure where your requirements call for it. If a workflow would send sensitive data to a third-party model, we tell you up front and design an alternative if you would rather it did not.

Do you work with plantation and palm oil operations?

Yes, and it is one of the sectors we know best. Estate and mill operations still run on forms, spreadsheets and re-keyed field data, while the traceability and reporting load from MSPO and EUDR keeps growing. That combination is exactly what document processing and system integration are for. Worth noting the timing: EUDR applies to large and medium operators from 30 December 2026, and MSPO certification helps with it but does not substitute for it, so the evidence trail still has to exist.

Does this help with LHDN e-Invoice compliance?

Often, yes. Businesses above RM1 million turnover are inside the mandate, and the Phase 4 relaxation period closes at the end of 2026. The work is largely document handling and system integration, which is what our intelligent document processing and integration services already do. If e-Invoice is your immediate pressure, say so on the call and we will scope that first.

What if AI is not the right answer for my problem?

Then we say so. AI is leverage, not a strategy, and plenty of bottlenecks are fixed by changing a process rather than automating it. Roughly two in five companies abandoned most of their AI initiatives last year, usually because someone sold them a build before anyone diagnosed the problem. We would rather lose the project than be that vendor.

Is MidasX a good fit for a small business in Malaysia?

Yes. MidasX Digital is a Malaysian AI automation agency built specifically for local SMEs. We work in plain language, start with the single highest-ROI opportunity rather than a full transformation, and integrate with the tools you already use rather than forcing a rip-and-replace.

Find the process that is costing you most

Thirty minutes, no cost, no obligation. You leave with a named process and an honest read on whether automation is worth it for you.
